Welcome to the Hoaxhunter website. My name is John Hughston, I'm an investigator of paranormal hoaxes.
I also investigate paranormal cases that are true, but I will only consider them true after a thorough independent
investigation concludes them as such. When a blurry photo and a anecdotal story is all you have to
work with, it is not always possible to find enough facts to draw a clear conclusion. I do not seek to prove if any
particular story is a hoax or not, the evidence will decide whether it is a hoax, true or unknown.
